Dave Thompson of Green Clean Institute was very pleased to work with Coleen Tang from Lowes on this article.  While the business world seems fixated on energy savings, there is a concern that many of the fundamental issues are being missed. 

Patricia Thompson explains how this school system developed its Green school program.  Making a serious change in direction came through better equipment, better ideas, and training from the Green Clean Institute.

One of the big issues in Green cleaning is how to deal with infectious disease.  Simple solutions are often the best solutions.  Green Clean Institute feels that new Green techniques will save lives and stop the spread of disease with toxic cleaning products.

Green Clean Institute has recently been named "TOP MERCHANT" by Merchant Circle.  This is a pleasant piece of news as the reputation of the Green Clean Institute grows.  Obviously, Green Clean Institute is not a merchant in the traditional sense of the word, but we are proud to have an impact in the world of business.

For those who are serious about Green cleaning, there will be a one off event on March 28th and 29th, 2012.  The event will be at the SusCon Brunel Way located at The Bridge in Dartford.  Green Clean Institute offers its first UK educational program for those in the janitorial industry seeking to distinguish their business as a Green certified service.

I have always felt that education was a necessity for the cleaning staff.  Recently Brent Williams, a GCI-Technician, brought to me a case study highlighting the learning requirement of Green Cleaning.  This report, written by Robert Kravitz with the Ashkin Group, highlights a facility having issues with the changing of products to Green.  Oh, like I have never heard of this before.
